This scientists and students launched the first CTD today. It collects water samples at different depths for use in experiments on chlorophyll, microscopy, flow cytometry, nucleic acids, PAM flourometry, cell isoplation, and CDOM. OK, so the challenge is to find out what all this means! Stay tuned and search around the site for pictures and explanations.
