Friday is laundry day.  Each cabin is assigned a day to do laundry.  There are three washing machines for clothes and four dryers in the laundry room.

All operations are running smoothly.  The weather is overcast and cool unlike the heat wave I hear people in Maine are experiencing.

Operations continue smoothly.  The CTD is deployed several times each day.  The "fish" is swimming along side pumping sea water on-board.  Scientists and researchers observe, analyze, and record data.

Memorial Day Weekend is here.  I'm not sure where the parade will be.

Question:  Why can ships made of steel float on water when a bar of steel sinks?
